    DAY 1: Arrival at Srinagar and city tour

    On arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative and  proceed for Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar city. Overnight stay at hotel/ houseboat.


    DAY 2: Sonmarg day trip

    After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg. Full day excursion to Sonmarg. Sonmarg is known as "Gateway of Ladakh". In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel/ Houseboat.


    DAY 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg (56 kilometers / 2-3 hrs drive)- 

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway, at your own cost). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Stay overnight at the hotel.


    DAY 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam (152 kilometers / 4-5 hrs drive)- 

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.


    DAY 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar

    After breakfast, check out from Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel/ houseboat.

On arrival at Kokernag, after some rest, proceed for Papashudan Nad spring. The water of Spring is popular for its medicinal and digestive properties and draws thousands of tourists around the world. Overnight stay at the hotel.


    DAY 3: Srinagar- Kokernag with Sinthan Top (Day 2 of 3)  

    : Proceed for a full day excursion to Daksum and Sinthan Top. 498 kms from Kokernag, Sinthan top is the highest pass connecting Kashmir with Jammu via Kishtwar. Daksum swathed in coniferous green forests is trekkers pardise. The curvy uphill drive from Daksum to Sinthan Top is pretty thrilling and adventurous. Sinthan top is popular for the  360 degrees view and year round snow. Adventure enthusiasts can plan for mountaineering and skiing here. Overnight stay at hotel in Kokernag.


    DAY 4: Srinagar- Kokernag with Sinthan Top (Day 3 of 3) (80 kms/ 3 hrs)

    DAY 3: Yusmarg day trip (47 kms/ 2 hrs)

    After breakfast, drive to Manasbal Lake. The lake is paradise for bird watchers. This lake is surrounded by three villages Jarokbal, Kondabal and Gratbal. The beautiful lotuses blossom by the lakeside during July and August adds to the beauty of clear waters. Also visit Kheer Bhawani Temple. Later drive back to Srinagar for overnight stay.


    DAY 5: Doodhpathri day trip (42 kms/ 2 to 3 hrs)

    Doodhpathri, valley of milk, located in Budgam district, lies in bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal Range. Its an alpine valley covered with snowclad mountains. Not a lot of tourists come to this place, since the road conditions are not favorable. After some quiet and peaceful time at Doodhpathri, be back to Srinagar for overnight stay.


    DAY 6: Dachigam National Park day trip (22 kms/ 1 hr)

    After breakfast, set out for an excursin to Dachigam National Park. Located 22 kms from Srinagar city, the park was once the private game preserve of Maharaja Gulab Singh. The park is situated at altitude ranging from 5500 ft to 14,000 ft. Due to the variation in altitude, the park is demarcated into upper and lower regions. The best time to visit the park is: upper Dachigam from months of May till August; lower Dachigam from months of September till December. Bird watching is best in the months of March till May. The park is popular as the home of the rare and critically endangered Hangul or Kashmir stag. The other famous attractions of the park are Himalayan Black Bear, Markhor, Ibex and exotic birds. Enjoy the safari at Dachigam National Park. Overnight stay at the hotel.


    DAY 7: Gulmarg day trip (56 kilometers / 2-3 hrs drive) one way

    After Breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (55 kms/2 hrs). You can do Khilanmarg sightseeing here by gondola ride at your own cost, return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.


    DAY 8: Pahalgam day trip (97 kilometers / 3-4 hrs drive) one way )

    Today we travel 97 kiilometers (3 hrs one way) south of Kashmir to Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel/ houseboat for overnight stay.


    DAY 9: Srinagar city tour

    After breakfast, we proceed for a half day city tour that includes visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, the Chasme Shahi Garden, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and Shankaracharya Temple. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel for a dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.


    DAY 10: Departure/transfers to Srinagar Airport

    DAY 1: Srinagar

    As you land at Srinagar airport and reach to hotel by yourself, our team members will meet in hotel/ houseboat. (optional :Arrival in Srinagar. Meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to hotel with extra cost) . Complete the check-in formalities. Lunch is followed by a Shikara ride on direct payment basis, one of the most popular things to do in Srinagar. Later on, get ready to visit the breathtaking Mughal Gardens-founded in the Mughal era. Nishat Bagh, Chashme-e-Shahi and Shalimar Bagh comprise the Mughal gardens. Stay overnight in Srinagar.


    DAY 2: Srinagar – Kargil

    On day 2, post breakfast get ready for your road transfer to Kargil. On the way, there are halts at Sonamarg –a pristine valley with lush views and snow-clad peak; Zo jila Pass (a high altitude pass); Drass Village- the world’s 2 nd  coldest inhabitant place. Here you visit War memorial hall and Museum- also known as Vijaypath. The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who laid their lives in Kargil War. Evening arrival in Kargil. Check-in formalities. Overnight stay in Kargil.


    DAY 3: Kargil – Leh

    After breakfast, start driving towards Leh. On the way stop for a quick visit to the Lamayuru monastery. Lamayuru is known for its unique landscape that resembles the moon. Take clicks of the beauty to cherish it as wonderful memories. Continue with your journey. Stop at the Magnetic hill to marvel at the amazing natural wonder. Also pay respects to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara- constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji- the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru. Continue your road journey. On arrival in Leh, visit the Hall of Fame Museum a war memorial by the Indian Army that was founded in the memory of Indian soldiers who laid lives in Indo-Pak wars. Complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.


    DAY 4: Leh - Nubra Valley

    On the 4 th  day, after breakfast get ready for transfer to the gorgeous Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass- one of the highest motorable roads in the world with an altitude of 18,380 feet. As you reach the Valley, check into the hotel. Have lunch. Later, leave the comforts of your room to enjoy a ride on double-humped camel’s back to explore the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Treat your eyes to the scenery all around. Overnight in Nubra Valley.


    DAY 5: Nubra Valley – Leh

    Start the day with sumptuous breakfast. Today you will pay a visit to the Diskit Monastery. It belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Pay a visit to the Big Buddha. The amazing monastery also offers a magnificent view of the Nubra Valley. Later continue with your ride to Leh. Overnight stay in Leh hotel.


    DAY 6: Leh to Pangong

    Drive to for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass. Arrive at the camp, along one of Asia's largest saltwater lake. After you have checked-in enjoy your free time at leisure and enjoy the color changing water displaying all shades of blue and the sunset on the banks of lake. Overnight stay in camps at Pangong Lake.


    DAY 7: Pangong to Leh

    Get up early in the morning to enjoy the real beauty of this place. Enjoy the scenic view of sunrise on lake. Notice how the water's color glistens like diamonds. Post breakfast, start your drive back to Leh via the Chang La Pass. On the way, halt to visit two popular monasteries of Ladakh- Thiksey Monastery – a 12- storey Gompa with 10 temples and an assembly hall, and Shey Palace- a royal palace on a hilltop that also has a monastery. Walk through the colorful markets in Leh city. The bazaars here sell some wonderful souvenirs such as Thangka paintings, wood objects, woolens etc. Get some great deals as cherished remembrances of your Ladakh tour. Check into the hotel as you reach Leh.


    DAY 8: Leh - Sarchu / Jispa

    In the morning, on day 8, have breakfast and start your road journey to Sarchu, driving past the scenic Puga Valley, Tsokar Lake- another picturesque lake in Ladakh, Skyangchu Thang – a plateau stretching to 42 km. Lunch at the town of Pang. Continue your journey to Sarchu by driving past Nakee La and Lachlung La. Evening arrival in Sarchu. Check-in formalities.  Stay overnight in Sarchu.


    DAY 9: Sarchu – Manali

    After breakfast, drive to Manali. Get ready for a scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m). Halt for lunch at Sissu Village. Next you cross the very popular Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 13050 feet. Arrival in Manali. Check-in at a hotel.


    DAY 10: Manali

    (Today is the last day. Get an assisted transfer to the airport / bus stand for your onward journey.

    One person should make the booking on behalf of everyone who is going on the Kashmir Special tour . That person must be at least 18 years of age when they book the Kashmir Special tour . This person must have the agreement of everyone who is going on the Kashmir Special Tour , to make the booking with us and will be responsible for making sure all payments due for your Kashmir Special Tour , are paid in full and at the right time.

  • <>PAYMENT

    An initial payment (deposit) of 50% is required at time of booking. Duke Kashmir Travels will be under no duty to provide any services to the Client until the Client's initial payment has been received and cleared by the bank. The balance of the total tour price is payable not less than 2 weekls before the arrival date. Duke Kashmir Travels shall be entitled to cancel the booking in the event that the balance of the tour price has not been received in full by us, 2 weeks before arrival date in which event, a cancellation charge of 100% of the total tour price will become due. Duke Kashmir Travels reserves the right to cancel any booking without any further notice, which is overdue in terms of any outstanding payment and all monies received to date of such a cancellation will be put towards the cancellation charge payable by the Client.

    Break-aways, Claims and Refunds Refunds will not be made for any missed tour services, unused sightseeing trips or meals. Whilst it is possible to break-away from the planned tour itineraries, it is understood that such break-aways will be for the passenger's account and there will be no refunds under any circumstances for unused services.
